《1-6 歲兒童語言發育測評量表》(Chinese Language Assessment Scales - Toddlers and Pre-schoolers,簡稱 CLAS-TP),是專為以普通話為母語的學前兒童開發的口語能力測評工具。該量表由南京市婦幼保健院兒童保健科、香港衛生署兒童體能智力測驗服務,以及香港大學教育學院的兒科醫生、言語治療師和學者共同研發。量表分為語言理解、語言表達和故事理解三個分測驗,兒童在每個分測驗所取得的測評分數均可與常模兒童的標準比較,從而瞭解兒童的語言發育能力,為臨牀診斷語言發育遲緩或障礙提供依據和治療方向。在香港和澳門,量表的使用者為能說流利普通話的言語治療師、兒童體智及行為發展學科醫生和兒童腦神經科醫生。
這次的科研成果不僅標誌着一個新的兒童口語能力評估工具的誕生,更象徵着內地在幼兒語言發育和復康的研究向前邁進了一大步。我們期望這個工具可以幫助及早識別普通話兒童的語言遲緩問題,從而給予合適的復康訓練,把語言困難對個人、家庭和社會的影響減至最低。研討會將介紹工具的研發背景、理論和研究數據,歡迎言語治療師、兒童體智及行為發展學科醫生、兒童腦神經科醫生、有關學者及研究院和復康機構的行政人員參加。
"Chinese Language Assessment Scales -Toddlers and Pre-schoolers" (CLAS-TP) is an assessment tool specially developed to examine the oral language performance of preschool children whose mother tongue is Putonghua. The Scales were jointly developed by paediatricians, speech-language pathologists and academics from the Nanjing Women and Children's Healthcare Hospital, The Faculty of Education of The University of Hong Kong, and the Child Assessment Service of the Department of Health (Hong Kong SAR). The standardized Scales comprise three subtests: language comprehension, language expression, and story comprehension. Children's scores in each subtest can be compared with normative data to allow clinicians to understand the level of children's language development and to support clinical diagnosis for further management. In Hong Kong and Macau, eligible users of the Scales are speech-language pathologists, developmental-behavioural paediatricians, and paediatric neurologists who can speak fluent Putonghua.
The results of this scientific research project not only mark the birth of a new assessment tool for children's oral language ability but also represent a significant step forward in the research and rehabilitation of children with language problems in Mainland China. We hope that this tool will help identify language disorders to allow subsequent provision of language treatment, thereby minimizing the impact of language disorders on individuals, families, and society. This research seminar will present the background, theoretical foundation, and research data of the assessment tool. Speech-language pathologists, developmental-behavioural paediatricians, paediatric neurologists, scholars and researchers in related fields, and administrators of rehabilitation services are welcome to attend.
